If You Can't Make Time At Least Make Some Time.


For a lot of people avoiding the gym, cancelling training sessions is a part of their routine.  In order to truly make a change and get the results you're after, your training/ health & fitness must become a priority.  Everyone has a daily system, activities, chores and routines that we do each and every day.  We wake up, shower, eat [we all eat breakfast, right?], brush our teeth, go to work, sit at our desks, play angry birds while we work, skip lunch, gossip, get back in our cars, drive...sit in traffic....drive....get home, make dinner, sit on the couch, watch tv, go to bed [throw in some washroom breaks].

There has got to be a way we can mange to squeeze in a workout.  Maybe in the morning?  Drag ourselves out of bed an hour earlier, head out to the gym, do a high intensity training session and coast on the Endorphin's for the rest of the work day.

Or pack your gym bag, keep it in your car and instead of rotting in traffic, drive to the gym after work before you head home.  And you'll still have to time to Keep Up with the Kardashians, wonder why people care about the Jersey Shore, and watch d-z list celebrities dance...sort of.

And finally, go home, have a small bite to eat, relax and then go to your group class and forget about the work day, forget about your incompetent co workers, ungrateful boss, whinny students and rude customers.  Lifts weights, sprint, crawl, push, pull, skip and sweat.  Compete with other blue and white collar workers who just had as tough a day as you, but made the choice to continue their day with a challenging workout instead of wasting away in front of the television set.   

If you're going to make time for anything...make time for things that will enhance your life.  Make health and fitness a priority.  Make time.
